This past week was somewhere between the most frustrating and the most rewarding week I’ve had in awhile. I don’t think I’ve answered that many emails since 2006 – my year at the old agency. But as the running theme of Project 03 holds true, the first time you do something it is custom, the second time you do it it becomes a template.
I thought it was gonna be a creative week, too.
Now, Southwest Florida makes everything better as does this new Samsung Chronos Series 7 laptop, but even with an army of brainchild go-getters, a TARDIS & a case of Gumballhead its hard to plow through something the first time.
I even tried to make checklists. I guess we call that’s why they have 2.0.
So we’re making checklists as we go so we have a good case of notes and never have to go through it again. And them I’m giving the checklists great titles and put them in a clearly marked folder so I can remember that I did that.
And I’ll start writing better when we start having time to write. At this point, it’s 2am and I’m writing because I haven’t in a week.
As for this site, I’m trying to decide how to write about internet marketing on here. I’m getting pulled 4 different ways from Sunday on content and that’s not including the NWISM project-in-waiting.
And I’ve been playing with Google Drive. I’m gonna give it a couple more days before I give my final assessment of the beta.
Then I’ll have to decide which of the three projects I’ll write the review on.
Let’s call it crowdsourcing.
Maybe I’ll make a checklist to decide.
Either way, I’ve been dragging my heels on most every part of my life and that’s gonna come to an end soon. Even if I have to come out fists-in-the-air swinging. One way or another…
